JHE Partners are working exclusively with a very successful and growing business in Brighouse as they look to recruit a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their accounting expertise within a dynamic organisation. The successful candidate will support the Finance Manager, assist with financial reporting and contribute to the optimisation of financial processes. A strong understanding of financial principles, excellent organisational skills, and proficiency in relevant software are essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Contribute to the preparation of cash flow forecasts and financial projections
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information
- Bank reconciliations
- Support with day to day transactional accounts during busy periods including purchase and sales ledger
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field (e.g., AAT, ACCA/CIMA part-qualified) or equivalent experience
