Interim In-House Corporate Lawyer (VC-backed Fintech)
Immediate start | 4–5 days per week | 3–6 months
We’re supporting a high-growth, VC-backed fintech that requires urgent interim support due to a live transaction and increased deal activity. This is a hands-on, in-house role for a lawyer who is comfortable operating at pace and taking ownership.
The role will involve:
- Supporting private company M&A and strategic transactions
- Leading and supporting company-side private fundraising rounds (VC / growth equity)
- Drafting and negotiating investment documentation (SHAs, articles, equity issuances, consents)
- Managing external counsel and internal stakeholders
- Providing pragmatic, commercial advice in a fast-moving environment
You’re likely to be a fit if you:
- Are a corporate / M&A lawyer (c.5+ PQE)
- Have recent, hands-on company-side fundraising experience
- Have worked with venture-backed, high-growth businesses (fintech experience a plus)
- Are comfortable stepping into an in-house interim role
- Are available now or at short notice and able to commit 4–5 days per week
This will suit someone who enjoys deal execution, autonomy, and working closely with the business during critical moments. If this sounds relevant, please get in touch for an initial conversation. If you’re not immediately available or don’t have recent fundraising exposure, this is unlikely to be the right fit.
