Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are seeking a Temporary Semi-Skilled Production Operator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or general manufacturing background and a keen interest in working in a production environment. You will be responsible for supporting the production process, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring efficient operation of machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with assembly, fabrication, and general manufacturing tasks
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure compliance with company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report any issues with machinery, materials, or processes to supervisors
- Assist in the setup and changeover of equipment
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including PPE requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production team
Skills & Experience
- Mechanical or manufacturing experience preferred (apprenticeship, vocational qualification, or hands-on experience)
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to follow procedures
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM β 3:30 PM; Friday: 6:00 AM β 12:15 PM
