Our Client, a global organization headquartered in the U.S.A, helps the largest manufacturers in the world to buy, sell, and manage their surplus capital equipment. The company operates across multiple industries including pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, consumer packaged goods, and electronics. It has global contracts with multi‑national corporations such as Johnson.
Collaboration with colleagues worldwide will be essential. Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate at all levels, including CEOs and engineers worldwide.
- 2+ years’ experience within a customer‑service, sales, account‑management or business‑development role
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn and other platforms to identify and create relationships with key contacts
Job Duties:
- Inbound and outbound call handling
- Manage leads from lead generators
- Generate own leads/opportunities and build a strong pipeline
- Identify new customers and grow existing accounts
- Manage price negotiations
- Respond to machinery and equipment enquiries or needs
- Follow up with potential customers
- Management of sales transactions – ensuring invoices are paid and providing after‑sales service
- Communicate with finance, logistics and project‑management teams
- Occasionally attend exhibitions and shows in Europe
