- Payroll Manager
- Location: Troon, Ayrshire

- Leading the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring accurate and compliant delivery across multiple business units, legal entities and employee groups.
- Managing both weekly and monthly payroll cycles, overseeing PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments, auto-enrolment pensions, RTI submissions and payroll reporting.
- Taking ownership of payroll accuracy, reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and ensuring strong governance across all payroll processes.
- Supporting payroll and HR system improvements, including involvement in HRIS/payroll implementation projects, system testing, data migration and process optimisation.
- Driving continuous improvement across the payroll function by reviewing procedures, identifying efficiencies and championing new ways of working.
- Managing and developing the payroll team, providing leadership, coaching and support while building strong relationships with HR, Finance, IT and operational stakeholders.
- Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience managing an end-to-end payroll function within a complex or multi-site organisation.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NI, statutory payments, pensions, RTI and payroll compliance.
- Experience supporting payroll system implementations, integrations, testing and process improvements.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing payroll teams.
- Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to communicate complex payroll and systems information clearly across the business.
- CIPP qualification (or equivalent) desirable, with a proactive mindset and a passion for improving payroll processes.
