A hands-on Employee Relations focused role, managing a broad ER portfolio across a workforce of 1,200 employees operating across 600 sites. Reporting to the Senior People Relations Partner, you will take ownership of complex and high-volume ER casework, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and portfolio directors to deliver fair, compliant and commercially sound outcomes. This role is a replacement hire within a supportive People team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for ER advice and guidance
  • Manage end-to-end ER casework including:
  • Redundancy & restructuring
  • TUPE transfers
  • Disciplinary & grievance hearings
  • Mediation & wellbeing meetings
  • Medical capability processes
  • Draft formal correspondence and manage case documentation
  • Liaise with Trade Unions and external representatives
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, ACAS and best practice
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across operational portfolios

    • Strong end-to-end ER case management experience
    • Solid employment law knowledge and risk awareness
    • Experience with TUPE & Trade Union engagement (highly desirable)
    • Confident influencing senior managers
