Location: Leeds (Hybrid – typically 1 day a week in office, 3 during month-end)

Key Responsibilities

Manage and process high-volume payroll across the UK & Ireland

Conduct pre- and post-payroll checks to ensure 100% accuracy

Liaise with HMRC, pension providers, and statutory bodies to ensure compliance

Reconcile deductions, third-party payments, and payroll to the General Ledger

Respond to payroll queries with professionalism and attention to detail

Support system enhancements, audits, and continuous process improvements

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven experience managing large, complex payrolls (1,000+ employees)

Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, RTI, PAYE, and Auto Enrolment

Experience with ResourceLink (desirable)

Stable career history and strong in-house payroll background

Calm under pressure, highly organised, and detail-driven

A team player with great communication skills and a proactive mindset
