We're partnering with a high-growth payroll and HR technology provider supporting staffing and recruitment agencies across the UK. The business operates in a fast-paced, start-up environment and is scaling quickly, making this a great opportunity for someone early in their implementation career who already has solid hands-on experience and is keen to grow. This role focuses on end-to-end payroll software implementations, working closely with clients throughout the full lifecycle — from discovery through to go-live. You'll be client-facing, tech-savvy, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple payroll implementation projects in parallel, ensuring successful and timely go-lives.
- Own end-to-end delivery including timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Work closely with clients to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Support payroll data management, migration, validation, and testing.
- Configure and adapt the platform to meet client-specific requirements while maintaining scalable solutions.
- Build reports and dashboards to support client visibility post-implementation.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, balancing approachability with the confidence to challenge where needed.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven end-to-end payroll implementation experience.
- Experience implementing payroll software and strong technical confidence.
- Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation and payroll terminology.
- Experience working with payroll data, including migration and validation.
- Exposure to staffing, recruitment, healthcare, or education payrolls (highly desirable due to complex shift patterns).
- Experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong client-facing skills with a consultative, personable approach.
