The Role
This is a hands-on Payroll Administrator position supporting accurate and timely payroll delivery in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on data accuracy, Excel-based reporting, and day-to-day payroll administration, alongside wider HR support.
Responsibilities
- Input and maintain accurate payroll data
- Process salaries, overtime, holiday pay, allowances and deductions
- Use Excel for payroll validation, reporting and data analysis
- Review payroll data and resolve discrepancies prior to submission
- Support payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Act as first point of contact for payroll-related queries
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and payroll data
- Support wider administration, including HR and absence trackers
- Work to tight payroll deadlines
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in payroll administration or payroll-focused role
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, data manipulation and analysis)
- Good understanding of payroll processes and statutory deductions
