My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a growing and fast‐paced organisation based in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional with client payroll experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Process end‐to‐end payroll for a portfolio of clients on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
- Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and within strict deadlines
- Submit RTIs and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
- Process statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and SPP
- Manage pension submissions and payroll reconciliations
- Handle payroll queries from clients and employees in a professional and timely manner
- Process BACS payments and maintain accurate payroll records
- Support with year‐end payroll activities including P60s and P11Ds where required
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience processing client payrolls is essential
- Strong knowledge of end‐to‐end payroll processes and UK payroll legislation
- Ability to manage multiple payrolls and prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident working in a fast‐paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience using ADP is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
