Key Responsibilities
- Lead payroll operations across approximately 15-18 countries throughout EMEA & APAC
- Manage relationships with outsourced payroll providers, ensuring service levels and compliance are maintained
- Oversee payroll processing, approvals, controls and reconciliations across multiple jurisdictions
- Support internal and external audits, including tax, SOX and compliance reviews
- Partner closely with HR, Finance, Benefits, Legal and senior stakeholders
- Manage, mentor and develop a small payroll team
- Review payroll outputs, identify risks and drive continuous process improvements
- Support payroll projects, system enhancements and operational efficiencies
- Ensure payroll compliance with local legislation, employment taxes and statutory requirements
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 7 years' payroll experience within a large international organisation
- Strong EMEA payroll knowledge with exposure to APAC payrolls
- Previous experience managing payroll teams and reviewing payroll outputs
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance, employment taxes and controls
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers
- Confident managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret payroll and financial data
- Experience with CloudPay and/or Workday would be highly advantageous
- Degree educated or equivalent professional experience
