We’re working with a leading global professional services organisation that is growing its Payroll & Workforce Management consulting practice. This is a great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to move into consulting, working on payroll transformation, technology, advisory and implementation projects with a range of major organisations.

The Role

You’ll use your payroll expertise to help clients review, improve and transform their payroll and workforce management functions. Projects can include payroll process reviews, compliance, technology implementations, vendor selection and outsourced payroll transformations. The role will also involve:

  • Delivering end-to-end payroll process reviews and recommendations
  • Supporting payroll transformation and technology implementation projects
  • Advising clients on payroll processes, controls, compliance and best practice
  • Supporting RFPs, vendor selection and pre-sales activity
  • Analysing payroll data and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Building strong client relationships and presenting recommendations
  • Working collaboratively across payroll, technology and consulting teams
  • Contributing to thought leadership, seminars and business development

About You

We’re looking for an experienced payroll professional who understands the operational detail but is keen to develop their consulting and advisory career. You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong UK payroll experience and knowledge of the full payroll cycle
  • In-depth understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance
  • Strong Excel and payroll data analysis skills
  • Experience with payroll controls, governance and audit
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Workday or Dayforce would be advantageous
  • Payroll implementation or transformation experience would be highly desirable
  • International payroll experience would be beneficial
