A fantastic opportunity for a UK in-house payroll professional to step into a Payroll & Benefits-focused role within a professional services environment. This position blends hands-on payroll, benefits administration, and reward/HR project exposure, including engagement and recognition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly UK payroll for 600 employees via Workday
  • End-to-end payroll administration (starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, ShPP, pensions & auto-enrolment)
  • RTI submissions, payroll journals, reconciliations (PAYE & NI)
  • Month-end and year-end processes including P60s
  • Manage payroll, pension and benefits providers and invoices
  • Respond to payroll & benefits queries with a high level of service
  • Maintain data integrity across payroll and HR systems
  • Support monthly and annual benefit reconciliations
  • Update benefits platform content and documentation
