The predicted salary is between 40000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

Location: West Drayton, London - 4 days a week on site, 1 from home

Salary: Up to Β£190 per day or Β£20 per hour

Contract: Temporary - 6 months

Start date: January 5th

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acting as the point of contact for managers for HR for the agreed area.
  • Advising operational managers on HR policies and people matters. Work with them to improve their confidence & capability in leading their teams.
  • Provide commercially sound advice and guidance and ensure managers act in line with current legislation.
  • Support on all HR activity (Salary Reviews, Training, Recruitment, performance reviews etc. in conjunction with HRSS/L&D/TA).
  • Ensure departmental training plans are in place for functional and mandatory training in conjunction with Learning Advisor, HSE manager and operational lead.
  • Advise on processes.
  • Ensure line managers are equipped to handle investigations, including grievance and disciplinary.
  • Support managers with complex ER issues in conjunction with HRBP and technical experts. Keep the ER tracker up to date at all times.
  • Working as part of a wider HR team looking to deliver People strategy and continuous improvement including flagging themes or trends to other HR colleagues and operational leaders.
  • Reviewing and updating job descriptions with managers to ensure performance against the expectations in the role. Ensure changes are reflected in CC via HRSS.
  • Expedite recruitment when required and conversion of temps to perm.
  • Providing advice, coaching and support on change processes.
  • Using HR information systems as required and work with managers on data from reports on absence to agree outcomes. Suggesting new HRIS/MF improvements.
  • Identifying development needs and liaising with HRBP and L&D.
  • Assisting in organising colleague engagement activities.
  • Weekly update catch-up with Ops managers in order to check in on people issues, including wellbeing of manager, maintain sickness cases including pay decisions (from sickness report) and ensuring payroll.
  • Directing managers to right channels such as HRSS for HRSS queries, Payroll for Pay queries etc.
  • Reporting any issues related to managers' pay challenges to HRSS Lead/Payroll.
  • Supporting Regional and Global cyclical HR items as required, working collaboratively with all parts of the wider HR team on successful delivery.
