A hands-on international payroll operations role supporting accurate and timely delivery across multiple countries. You’ll manage payroll inputs, vendor coordination, shared inbox queries and compliance, working closely with HR, Finance and external providers to deliver a high-quality payroll service.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate and submit monthly payroll data (starters, leavers, changes, variable pay)
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors through to completion
- Complete pre- and post-payroll checks, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Maintain secure payroll records, audit trails and documentation
- Manage shared payroll inbox and employee queries
- Provide clear, accurate and confidential payroll support
- Identify recurring issues and suggest process or self-service improvements
- Liaise with payroll vendors to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery
- Partner with HR, Finance, Reward and Legal on inputs and approvals
- Support payroll vendor purchase orders and invoice tracking
- Ensure UK statutory compliance and support compliance in other regions
- Maintain SOPs, process documentation and controls
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong hands-on UK payroll administration experience
- Exposure to outsourced and/or multi-country payrolls
- Experience with systems such as ADP, Workday, Oracle or similar
- Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, audits)
- Highly accurate, analytical and service-focused
- Confident communicator used to managing sensitive data
