The Opportunity
A key role within a busy accounts team, offering a mix of client-facing work, technical review, and people management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review a varied client portfolio (Ltd companies, sole traders & partnerships)
- Review accounts, corporation tax, and VAT returns prior to partner sign-off
- Clear review points and technical queries efficiently
- Support accounts preparation, tax computations, and ad-hoc tax planning
- Act as a main point of contact for clients, providing advice and guidance
- Assist in managing a team of 5, including technical support and workload allocation
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and deadlines are met
- Use and advise on cloud accounting software for clients and colleagues

- ACA / ACCA qualified (or 1–2 exams from qualifying)
- Strong accounts and tax review experience
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Organised, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing workload and people
