An exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a busy and evolving HR function within a large UK organisation. Working across multiple payrolls and pay frequencies, you’ll play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting payroll process improvements and maintaining compliance standards.

Key Duties

  • Manage payroll processing activities across weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Support payroll operations for a workforce of approximately 2,000 employees
  • Ensure payroll activities are completed accurately and within strict deadlines
  • Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll legislation
  • Handle payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders
  • Support payroll administration and data management within Workday
  • Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations
  • Assist with identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Maintain confidentiality and high standards of payroll accuracy
