We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a supportive payroll team and take responsibility for delivering accurate, timely and efficient payroll services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and within agreed deadlines.
  • Manage new starters, leavers, salary changes, deductions and statutory payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
  • Respond to and resolve payroll queries from clients.
  • Prepare payroll reports and supporting information.
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, HMRC and pension providers to resolve queries and issues.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

About You

  • Previous experience in a payroll position.
  • Good knowledge of UK payroll processes and legislation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a small team.
