My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a growing and fast-paced organisation based in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional with client payroll experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
  • Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and within strict deadlines
  • Submit RTIs and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
  • Process statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and SPP
  • Manage pension submissions and payroll reconciliations
  • Handle payroll queries from clients and employees in a professional and timely manner
  • Process BACS payments and maintain accurate payroll records
  • Support with year-end payroll activities including P60s and P11Ds where required
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience processing client payrolls is essential
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and UK payroll legislation
  • Ability to manage multiple payrolls and prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience using ADP is desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
