We are recruiting for a People Partner to join a values-led, employee-owned organisation within the environmental and consultancy sector. This is a newly created role within the People & Culture team, offering the opportunity to build strong business partnerships while providing high-quality, pragmatic HR advice and support across the organisation.
You will work closely with managers and leaders, contributing to both day-to-day HR operations and wider people projects aligned to the business’s longer-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on UK employment law, HR policies, and best practice
- Manage a varied ER caseload including absence, performance, probation, and occasional disciplinaries and grievances
- Coach and support managers through formal and informal people processes
- Support Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and inclusive people practices
- Contribute to wellbeing, engagement, and employee experience initiatives
- Act as a trusted business partner, providing proactive and insight-led people solutions
- Maintain accurate employee data and produce people metrics and reports
- Support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
- Strong experience in a People Partner, HR Advisor, or generalist HR role
- Confident managing ER cases end to end
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience supporting EDI initiatives
- Comfortable analysing people data and producing reports
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using HRIS systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Aligned with values-led organisations and making a positive social or environmental impact
