12 Month Fixed-term contract (Maternity Cover)
A fast-growing provider of workforce management and payroll technology solutions within the hospitality sector is seeking a Payroll Implementation Partner to join its specialist Payroll Implementation team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a key delivery role within the Professional Services function, supporting the onboarding and implementation of new payroll clients during a period of maternity cover. The role is highly hands-on, fast-paced, and detail driven, with a strong focus on data integrity and client delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client payroll implementation timelines and onboarding requirements
- Run full and comprehensive parallel payrolls during implementation
- Migrate payroll data from legacy provider systems
- Analyse payroll data and identify discrepancies or required corrections
- Produce and review reports to ensure ongoing data accuracy and integrity
- Provide payroll system demonstrations and best practice guidance to clients
- Support clients with payroll-related queries during onboarding
- Process statutory payments and deductions in line with UK payroll legislation
- Ensure compliance with HR and payroll regulatory requirements
- Contribute to project-based initiatives supporting business growth
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Advanced / expert-level Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working within a fast-paced payroll environment
- Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong follow-through and ability to resolve outstanding issues
- Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements
