The Role
This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional with a strong bureau or accountancy practice background. You will take ownership of a portfolio of client payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely processing while acting as a trusted point of contact for clients and partners. The successful candidate will be confident managing multiple payrolls, solving complex queries and delivering a high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of client payrolls.
- Ensure payrolls are completed accurately and delivered within strict deadlines.
- Handle payroll queries from clients and accountants, providing clear and professional support.
- Manage pension processing, auto-enrolment and statutory requirements.
- Complete payroll checks, resolve discrepancies and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and follow payroll processes to ensure compliance.
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing proactive updates and excellent customer service.
- Adapt to payroll software and evolving processes within a growing business.
