About the Role:

JGA are partnered with a longstanding established Manufacturing organisation, seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join their expanding team. You will play a vital role working as part of a team delivering a high-quality ER service.

The Main Duties:

  • Provide timely and professional employee relations support, ensuring consistent and well-informed guidance aligned with organizational standards.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of approximately 30 employee relations matters, offering expert advice to leaders on internal procedures, regulatory compliance, and best practice approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with line managers to build their confidence in handling sensitive people matters, offering practical risk assessments and strategic recommendations.
  • Address employee concerns and inquiries with discretion, clarity, and empathy.
  • Assist senior leaders with the preparation of formal case documentation and contribute to tribunal-related processes when required.
  • Design and deliver training sessions aimed at improving line management capability in addressing performance and conduct matters.
  • Keep up-to-date with evolving employment law and internal policy developments, contributing to periodic reviews and updates.
  • Utilize HR information systems and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) to maintain accurate records and streamline data management.
  • Draft and review HR-related correspondence, ensuring content is aligned with service level targets and organizational priorities.

Necessary Qualifications, Attitude and Experience:

  • Proven Employee Relations experience.
  • Demonstrable ER knowledge covering all elements of employee life cycle.
  • Strong employment law legislation knowledge.
