The Opportunity
We're working on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Auditor to join a growing professional services team. This role offers the opportunity to take greater ownership of a client portfolio, develop strong client relationships and contribute to the successful delivery of audit assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for your own portfolio, with support from senior management
- Plan and deliver audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Carry out audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, both on-site and remotely
- Ensure audit files are accurately and sufficiently documented
- Prepare statutory financial statements from client information
- Identify and communicate key risks or areas of concern to the Manager/Partner
- Use professional judgement throughout the audit process
- Support the delivery of revenue and profitability targets
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Coach and mentor junior team members
What We're Looking For
- ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Audit experience across a range of industries and client types
- Experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Experience coaching and developing junior team members
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgement
