We're working on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Auditor to join a growing professional services team. This role offers the opportunity to take greater ownership of a client portfolio, develop strong client relationships and contribute to the successful delivery of audit assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for your own portfolio, with support from senior management
  • Plan and deliver audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Carry out audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, both on-site and remotely
  • Ensure audit files are accurately and sufficiently documented
  • Prepare statutory financial statements from client information
  • Identify and communicate key risks or areas of concern to the Manager/Partner
  • Use professional judgement throughout the audit process
  • Support the delivery of revenue and profitability targets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Coach and mentor junior team members

What We're Looking For

  • ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Audit experience across a range of industries and client types
  • Experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Experience coaching and developing junior team members
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgement
