We're supporting a well-established organisation to find an experienced Payroll Manager to join a small, friendly HR team. This role owns the end-to-end payroll process and works closely with both HR and Finance to deliver an accurate, compliant, and trusted payroll service. It's a hands-on position with real responsibility and scope to improve how things are done.
What you'll be doing:
- Running the monthly payroll from start to finish
- Managing pensions, statutory returns, and salary changes
- Handling employee pay queries with care and confidentiality
- Maintaining payroll systems, records, and data accuracy
- Supporting audits, reporting, and year-end processes
- Working with HR and Finance to improve payroll processes
