Payroll Manager in King's Lynn

JGA Recruitment are excited to partner with a leading Norfolk based Accountancy Practice in their search for a Payroll Manager to lead their payroll operations across multiple offices.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small team in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing for a varied client portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across multiple pay cycles
• Act as a key contact for payroll-related queries, maintaining strong client relationships and resolving issues efficiently
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members while contributing to process improvements and internal quality controls
• Assist with payroll set-up, reconciliations, pension administration, and maintaining compliance with current payroll legislation and data protection standards

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in a payroll environment, ideally within a bureau or accountancy practice, with strong end-to-end payroll knowledge
• Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities effectively
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Knowledge of payroll compliance requirements including pensions, HMRC processes, and statutory regulations would be advantageous
