We're partnering with a leading services business — 5,000+ employees, £500m+ revenues, to appoint a Head of Finance at a pivotal moment in their growth journey. The Package

  • 20% bonus
  • London — hybrid, 2–3 days in office

What They're Looking For

  • Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Strong financial control background with proven senior leadership experience
  • Background in businesses of comparable scale - circa 5,000 employees and £500m+ turnover
  • Commercially confident, with the gravitas to influence at the MD and CFO level
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and partnering closely with the Group CFO, you'll take full ownership of the finance function, leading a team of six and driving financial control, reporting, planning, and cash management across a complex, fast-paced business. This isn’t a back-office finance role. You'll be a trusted commercial partner, influencing decisions that drive profitability and long-term performance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and developing a high-performing team of six direct reports
  • Owning month-end close and delivering accurate, insight-led management reporting and KPIs
  • Driving budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
  • Partnering with operational and commercial teams to improve margins and inform key decisions
  • Overseeing cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management
  • Ensuring strong financial governance, statutory compliance, and audit management
  • Continuously improving systems, processes, and reporting capability
