Remote UK-Based | High-Growth, AI-Driven Business

If you’re looking for a role where you can actually shape global payroll, not just run it… this is it.

We’re partnering with a fast-scaling, cash-rich tech business operating at the forefront of AI infrastructure. They’re growing at serious pace (20% MoM), expanding globally, and now need a hands-on, high-impact EMEA Payroll Manager to help build and scale their international payroll function.

Why this role stands out
  • Build, not maintain – no legacy processes, you’ll design the framework
  • Global exposure – onboarding new countries + scaling operations
  • Transformation-led – RFP, vendor selection, process standardisation
  • Work directly with an elite leader (ex high-growth tech scale-ups)
  • Huge growth runway – 500 → 1,000+ employees in 12–18 months
What you’ll be doing
  • Owning and evolving EMEA payroll operations
  • Leading global payroll transformation + RFP process
  • Transitioning new countries into a scalable global model
  • Driving process, governance & compliance frameworks
  • Acting as a true No.2 to the Global Payroll Director in building out the payroll function
What they’re looking for
  • Strong EMEA/global payroll experience (not just UK-focused)
  • Experience in transformation, scaling or building payroll from scratch
  • Exposure to M&A, high-growth or start-up environments
  • Confident problem-solver – someone who figures things out, not waits
  • Personable, visible, and comfortable working at pace
  • Experience with EOR models (e.g. Deel) and global vendors (CloudPay, Dayforce, SD Worx etc.) is a big plus.

This isn’t for someone who wants structure handed to them. It’s for someone who creates structure, builds solutions, and drives impact fast.
