Accountant to help with payroll and pension in Cambridge

Payroll Accounting Specialist 12 Month FTC Cambridge - Hybrid JGA are partnering with a leading international business to recruit a Payroll Accounting Specialist to join their growing payroll function. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background across payroll and accounting who enjoys the financial side of payroll, including journals, reconciliations and month-end activities. Working closely with Payroll and Finance, you will be responsible for: Processing and reviewing payroll journals accurately and within agreed deadlines Managing queries relating to payroll journals and accounting Completing monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations Posting payroll and benefits invoices Supporting group, parent and subsidiary audits Investigating discrepancies and resolving payroll accounting queries Supporting ad hoc reporting, including PSA, STBV and Gender Pay Gap reporting Working closely with Payroll, Finance and wider internal stakeholders Previous experience within a payroll, payroll accounting or finance environment Strong experience with payroll journals and reconciliations AAT Level 4 qualification Ideally studying towards ACCA or CIMA Strong Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systems This would suit someone looking to build on their payroll accounting experience within a complex, international environment.
