About the Role
JGA are exclusively partnered with a highly reputable accountancy firm looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their office in Sevenoaks. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with strong technical knowledge and experience managing multiple client payrolls within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau environment.
You will be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services to a diverse portfolio of clients, while providing excellent client support and maintaining strong working relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for multiple client payrolls (weekly, fortnightly, and monthly).
- Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and submitted on time.
- Handle RTI submissions and maintain compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Manage pension auto-enrolment, statutory payments, and deductions.
- Respond to and resolve client payroll queries efficiently.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with current UK payroll legislation.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
- Support and liaise with clients to ensure a high standard of service.
About You
- Proven experience in payroll processing, within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
- Experience managing multiple payrolls and working to tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Experience using payroll software and Microsoft Office.
