We are recruiting for a People Partner to join a values‑led, employee‑owned organisation within the environmental and consultancy sector. This is a newly created role within the People & Culture team, offering the opportunity to build strong business partnerships while providing high‑quality, pragmatic HR advice and support across the organisation.
You will work closely with managers and leaders, contributing to both day‑to‑day HR operations and wider people projects aligned to the business’s longer‑term strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice on UK employment law, HR policies, and best practice
- Manage a varied ER caseload including absence, performance, probation, and occasional disciplinaries and grievances
- Coach and support managers through formal and informal people processes
- Support Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and inclusive people practices
- Contribute to wellbeing, engagement, and employee experience initiatives
- Act as a trusted business partner, providing proactive and insight‑led people solutions
- Maintain accurate employee data and produce people metrics and reports
- Support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong experience in a People Partner, HR Advisor, or generalist HR role
- Confident managing ER cases end to end
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience supporting EDI initiatives
- Comfortable analysing people data and producing reports
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using HRIS systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Aligned with values‑led organisations and making a positive social or environmental impact
