Senior Account Executive – Professional Services/ Reputation Management
Salary: Salary DOE, great benefits and excellent holiday allowance
The role We are looking for someone who can:
- Write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces
- Pitch press releases and feature ideas by phone or email to national, regional and trade journalists, across print, broadcast and online
- Develop journalist contacts across key trade, national and broadcast media for clients
- Maintain regular client interaction, as a key day-to-day liaison, including developing editorial themes with lawyers and regular liaison with clients’ Marketing/Comms teams
- Arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople
- Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients
- Deliver analytics reports on social media, reporting on traffic, engagement and follower figures
- Be social media-savvy and understand the role of social media in reputation management
Key skills:
- Excellent written and spoken English. You need to be hot on spelling, grammar and proof-reading, as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging copy.
- Communications skills, from communicating ideas to your team to presenting stories to journalists.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- You will often be working to tight media deadlines as well as meeting the demands and pressures of agency life, so we need someone who can work quickly and efficiently, without compromising on quality.
- Prior experience working in professional services / corporate / business to business (B2B) PR gained in an agency.
- Passion and enthusiasm for building a career in legal PR in an entrepreneurial environment.
Benefits package:
- 25 days annual leave (plus UK bank holidays)
- FREE half day leave per month (equivalent to 6 days extra leave per year)
