Location: Victoria, London; some hybrid-working (3-4 days/week in office).

Position Overview: The client has an established reputation as the #1 comms advisor to the asset & wealth management (A&WM) sector in London but is actively expanding into the wider FS market to include insurance, commercial & retail banking, private capital, fintech, payments and Crypto. The Group is creating a new role for an FS lead and is seeking a well-networked, experienced senior leader with a proven track record of building business and advising international clients across the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading an established and dynamic A&WM team and working with them to build and grow a strong position in the broader FS market.
  • Part of the senior management team tasked with developing the agency as the front runner in AI / complexity science backed communication and reputation solutions.
  • Responsible for setting strategic direction of the team and ensuring exceptional client delivery whilst fostering a culture of collaboration, development, and high performance across the team.

Qualifications:

  • Substantial experience in a leading PR agency environment is essential advising FS clients on strategic communications and reputation management.
  • Proactive new business lead generation essential.
  • Clear technical literacy related to the role of AI in the delivery of marketing solutions.
  • Proven network of C-suite relationships within relevant markets.
  • Successful track record of client delivery and complete confidence managing high-profile, high-pressure projects.

The person: a driven self-starter seeking to shape and grow a broader sector and take an established team on a journey within an entrepreneurial environment. Ability to balance vision and creative thinking with analytical rigor. A strong team player with proven management skills. Ability to influence at all levels internally and externally using sound judgment, wisdom, and sensitivity.

Offer: A starting salary in the range of £180,000-200,000 – commensurate with experience. Annual performance bonus linked to a broad set of metrics including business development, collaboration, professional development and all aspects of leadership.

Benefits: Conventional package across pension contributions, private medical insurance (Bupa) and life assurance cover. Keen to hire asap.
