REGISTERED NURSE - SDS - F/T EVENING

Overview

Registered Nurse – SDS – Full Time Evening at Hackensack Meridian Health. This role supports the inpatient rehabilitation team by delivering evidence‑based nursing care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring safe, high‑quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, patient‑centered nursing care according to evidence‑based research, policies, and standards of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status, care plans, and treatment progress.
• Maintain optimal patient and guest satisfaction in accordance with Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Administer medications safely using the latest clinical documentation technology.
• Provide patient and family‑centered care aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current, valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required.
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within 3 years.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association.
• ACLS required.
• 2 years medical‑surgical experience strongly preferred.
• Ambulatory/surgical day‑stay pre‑operative and Phase 2 care experience preferred.
• Strong sense of accountability, teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and passion for delivering high‑quality patient care.

Compensation

Minimum rate of $44.24 hourly. Hackensack Meridian Health offers a competitive base pay and a comprehensive total rewards package.
