Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing practices according to evidence‑based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, individualized, patient‑centered care.
- Communicate regularly with patients, nursing colleagues, and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient status, care, and treatment plans.
- Ensure optimal patient satisfaction and care experience in line with Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
- Administer medications using the latest clinical documentation technology to ensure safe delivery.
- Provide patient and family‑centered care aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
- Collaborate across disciplines in managing the patient’s plan of care and goals from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions and continuum of care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
- Active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
- BSN strongly preferred or must be obtained within 3 years.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant nursing experience, or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
- Proof of ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and deliver high‑quality care with strong teamwork orientation.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting at $44.24 per hour. The posted rate is a reasonable estimate of the minimum base pay, subject to further negotiation based on experience, education, and other factors. Full‑time positions include a comprehensive benefits package: health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
