Responsibilities
- Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to provide safe and excellent individualized patient-centered care with a diverse patient population.
- Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other members of the health care team regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
- Responsible for optimal patient/guest satisfaction and care experience according to Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
- Medication administration utilizing the latest clinical documentation technology designed to ensure the safest delivery of medications.
- Patient and family centered care aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration in management of patient’s plan of care and goals from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
- BSN strongly preferred or must be obtained within 3 years.
- Must have six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience or be an active participant in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong sense of accountability, teamwork, and passion to deliver highest quality care.
- Excellent focus on patient-centered care.
Compensation
Starting at $44.24 Hourly. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted rate is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role as per the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act.
