Overview
Our Nursing team champions evidence‐based care with a focus on collaboration, compassion, and continual improvement. This role supports the orthopedic service line with high‐volume, complex patient care during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing practices in line with evidence‐based research, policies, and standards of care for individualized, patient‐centered care.
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients, family, nursing colleagues and the multidisciplinary team regarding patient status, care plans, and treatment goals.
- Ensure optimum patient satisfaction and care experience in accordance with Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
- Administer medications using the latest clinical documentation technology to guarantee safe delivery.
- Provide patient‐ and family‐centered care aimed at optimizing health, wellness and disease management.
- Collaborate interdisciplinary to manage patient care plans and goals from admission to discharge, ensuring safe transitions and continuum of care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
- BSN strongly preferred; must obtain within 3 years if not currently held.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience.
- Strong ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and demonstrate accountability for improving patient and caregiver outcomes.
Compensation
Starting at $44.24 hourly. This rate reflects the minimum base pay and may vary based on market data, experience, education, and other non‐discriminatory factors. Shift differentials for evening, night, or weekend shifts may also apply.
