As the Defence Diving Support Coordinator, you will work within the Defence Diving team, playing a pivotal role in keeping critical equipment operational and mission‑ready. From coordinating essential spares to managing complex repair processes, you will ensure our diving capability runs smoothly and safely, supporting those who operate in some of the most demanding environments.
What you'll be doing:
- Raise defence spares/repairs work orders and sales orders in Glovia.
- Liaise with the MoD on demands and attend weekly customer meetings.
- Process repair surveys, update work order BOMs and cost estimates, and complete 650A forms for non‑viable repairs.
- Maintain and update the MoD Shared Data Environment and relevant logs.
- Provide intercompany service‑work quotations.
- Work with Production and Supply Chain to gather job updates and communicate progress to customers.
- Update weekly picking dates for defence repairs.
- Review work order completion costs and invoice defence spares/repairs.
- Arrange urgent shipments of MoD spares for diversion demands.
- Support and provide holiday cover for the Defence Diving Support team.
What we're looking for:
- Excellent communication skills, confident in building strong relationships and conveying information clearly.
- Thrives under pressure and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail combined with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
- Security clearance eligibility is essential for working within Defence projects.
