We are a specialised team operating at the forefront of defence maritime engineering, dedicated to delivering the technical requirements of complex UK defence contracts. Our work spans commercial and military diving environments, with a strong focus on the design, development, and operation of advanced dive systems and naval technologies. As we continue to expand our capabilities, we are seeking individuals who bring a solid understanding of UK Defence Standards and hands-on experience within diving, maritime, or naval systems. What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure project objectives are being met and work to create more efficient methods and maintain profitability in Project Delivery.
- Communicate engineering updates regularly and effectively with all stakeholders.
- Where appropriate, assist in the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, schedules, and budgets. This includes preparation of reports as needed to support Department metrics, goals, or processes.
- Monitor and track obsolescence issues and own obsolescence management activities.
- Monitor and track Technical Queries and own Technical Query management process.
- Ensure technical database is accurately configured.
- Support the Quality Supplier Management System.
- Ensure compliance with relevant defence and industry standards.
What we’re looking for:
- Sound knowledge of general engineering principles.
- Experienced working in teams of varied disciplines.
- Strong user of Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with PLM system for storage and control of engineering documentation.
- HNC, HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally electrical.
- Knowledge of UK Defence Standards.
- Knowledge and experience of commercial and military diving and dive systems.
- Naval system design and/or operation experience.
