This role is part of our Dispatch team and will be responsible for ensuring all products are ready for dispatch in a timely and safe manner, always ensuring customer satisfaction. This role will be reporting to the Transport and Logistics Manager.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Load trailers in an efficient manner.
  • Offloading of all incoming goods.
  • Storing of all goods inwards in the appropriate location.
  • Pick products to be placed/wrapped on pallets for loading.
  • Cross checking incoming goods and ensuring that item and quantities are correct on the system.
  • Printing and adhering to labels on individual pallets.
  • Booking of individual outgoing loads via Haulier Portals.
  • Ability to work as part of dispatch team and on their own initiative.
  • Identify/report any health and safety hazards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all Health and Safety General Rules & Procedures.
  • Identify/report any quality issues to Manager.
  • Participate in a cross-functional teamwork environment.
  • Assembly of Wheelbarrows, Trailers, and Component kits etc.
  • Working on own initiative regarding process/methods.
  • Keeping Warehouse and yard clean and tidy.
  • Any other daily dispatch duties as requested by your manager.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Fork truck Certification is essential.
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory.
  • High level of professionalism and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a proactive and efficient manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational, prioritization, and planning ability.
  • Strong adherence to health & safety and quality standards.
  • Excellent customer focus.
