Jewson Partnership Solutions are recruiting now for 2 ambitious Trade Counter Sales Assistants.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
Location: 1 Freemans Way, Forest Lane, Harrogate, HG3 1RW
As a Trade Counter Sales Assistant, you will have one of the most important roles within the branch. You will regularly be the first and last point of contact for customers visiting the branch, so you play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience.
To support the team you will be:
- Getting to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values.
- Developing great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions.
- Dealing with lapsed accounts.
- Generating sales with new and existing customers.
- Using our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
- Keeping the branch and yard looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers.
- Maintaining stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts.
- Working with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills And Experience:
- Trade Counter experience gained in Building Material Supplies or a Merchant.
- Driving Licence is essential.
