Jewson a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Tool Hire Assistant who\βs as passionate about great service as we are.
We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with ample opportunities for career growth, along with a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 33 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
Hours β 7.30 β 5.00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12
Location β Poundbury West Industrial Estate, Off Poundbury Road, Dorchester, DT1 2PG

Key Responsibilities
- Delivery and collection of tools and equipment using a 3.5t vehicle, talking customers through how to use them on site
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop
- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, keeping customers updated throughout their journey
- Working according to Health & Safety compliance
- Improving and building sales within the Tool Hire department
