As a Tool Hire Assistant at Jewson, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive safe, well-maintained equipment and excellent service. This is a full-time role with driving responsibilities included.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 07:00-16:30 or 7:30-17:00, with the requirement of working every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

What You\'ll Be Doing

Deliver day-to-day tool hire activities, deploying resources to ensure efficient, effective and safe operations

Lead by example in developing strong relationships through regular customer interaction, supporting the team to maximise growth through pro-active cross selling

Deliver and collect customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring orders are accurate and all equipment is secured and loaded/offloaded safely in accordance with company procedures

Support branch colleagues in building knowledge and competence in tool hire product

Conduct pre-delivery checks to ensure tools and machinery are clean, safe, and fully operational

Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and record keeping

Inspect, test, and carry out basic repairs on a range of tools and small plant (e.g., breakers, saws, mixers, access equipment)
