This is a full‑time role (Monday‑Friday 07:00‑16:30, alternate Saturdays 08:00‑12:00). It requires a full UK driving licence and the ability to drive a 3.5‑tonne van. Previous experience with tool hire is essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver day‑to‑day tool hire activities, deploying resources to ensure efficient, effective and safe operations.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular interaction and support cross‑selling to maximise growth.
- Deliver and collect customer orders promptly, ensuring accuracy and secure handling in line with company procedures.
- Support branch colleagues in developing knowledge and competence with tool hire products.
- Conduct pre‑delivery checks to ensure tools and machinery are clean, safe and fully operational.
- Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Inspect, test and perform basic repairs on a range of tools and small plant (e.g., breakers, saws, mixers, access equipment).
