Jewson a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe is looking for a Branch Manager who is passionate about great leadership.

Hours – 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8am – 12pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support the team to deliver success and promote continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the wider network to support customer requirements and business activities.
- Adjust the nature of services delivered according to developments in customer needs and expectations in line with our Jewson Values.
- Build and develop great relationships with new and existing customers, providing proactive advice and solutions.
- Build effective relationships with suppliers.
- Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth.
- Ensure accurate stock levels are maintained and carry out regular stock counts.
- Lead the team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong communication and commercial awareness to empower the team to provide great customer service.
- Evidence of experience in motivating and driving sales for this role.
- Previous leadership or sales experience in the merchant sector is desirable.
- Ability to build, develop and maintain relationships.
- Industry experience would be advantageous.
