We are currently seeking a Sales Consultant to join our busy Regional Sales Centre in Newton Abbott, where you will be a single point of contact to meet customer requirements, whilst negotiating profitable sales and supporting the Major Build Solutions hub and branch network.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Overview
Working as part of an established team and backed by the world’s leading building materials distributor at STARK, you’ll be driving our sales with a close working team who like to work hard but also have fun! We truly invest in our employees and support them in their career development.

Key Duties

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from our customers looking to make and place orders.
  • Provide customers with product quotes and advise them with any queries they may have in relation to our products and services.
  • Process customer orders to their nearest branches or via our HUB network, maintaining excellent customer service throughout.
  • Look for opportunities to provide upsell where possible, which will involve calling Housebuilders and Contractors in the South-West to develop your business accounts.
  • Meet KPIs, but customer service and building solid customer relationships are our largest motivators.

  • Some product knowledge or related industry experience is an advantage; full training provided.
