Job Purpose

To drive profitable growth by developing and managing strong, long-term relationships with regional housebuilders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at regional housebuilders, including owners, directors, and land/project/site managers and develop detailed knowledge of each customer’s structure, funding approach, site pipeline, and decision-making process to offer relevant solutions.
  • Identify and win new accounts within the target segments using a consultative and proactive sales approach.
  • Own the full customer lifecycle—from prospecting and onboarding through to negotiation, delivery support, and ongoing service.
  • Consistently meet or exceed agreed revenue, margin, and growth targets across assigned territory and customer base.
  • Maximise customer value by deepening engagement, increasing share of wallet, and identifying upsell/cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Recommend appropriate products and alternatives based on build stage, budget, and specification, working closely with internal teams as needed—particularly Project Estimator.
  • Proactively liaise with key suppliers to secure competitive pricing, product availability, and tailored support for customer projects.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (branches, sales offices/centres, logistics, credit control).
