Full‑time role. Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 – 17:00 and every other Saturday 08:00 – 12:00.
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service.
- Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand the customers' current and future requirements so we can support all their needs.
- Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor.
- Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures and raise any concerns.
- Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin and service as required.
- Continually develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs.
- Load and unload vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided).
