Are you based in the STENHOUSE area of EDINBURGH? Do you have experience gained in a Builder’s Merchant or Building Materials supply business? Would you welcome the opportunity to take your first step into Management? We would be interested to hear from those with a background in plumbing, heating, electrical, ironmongery or general merchant.
Jewson Partnership Solutions, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Branch Manager who is passionate about great leadership.
Hours: 7.30 – 5.00 Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and support the team to deliver success and promote opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the wider network to support customer requirements and business activities.
- Adjust the nature of services delivered according to developments in customer needs and expectations.
- Build effective relationships with suppliers.
- Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth.
- Ensure accurate stock levels are maintained, carrying out regular stock counts.
- Lead your team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience gained in Builder's Merchant or Build Material supply business is essential.
- Previous experience working with Public Sector clients is desirable.
- Driving Licence is essential.
- It is important you can evidence experience in motivating and driving sales for this role.
- You will already have strong communication and commercial awareness to be able to empower the team to provide great customer service.
